Primary docs today

Primary Docs are being created every day... here are projects you can use to help

preserve them....

Here is an excellent classroom project:

click on the image below:                WHAT WAS THERE. ..historical documents by place

                                      Put History in it's Place"

Google MAPS brings time  and place together.

Crowd sourcing helps to build the database. Thousands of historical photos are

linked to their location.

Look for your town, country or state......... nothing there? Go take some pics and

send them in!

The Library of Congress is partnering with the Internet Archive

to locate  NEW primary documents for history. Teachers, students

and others can participate in helping to decide what content showing

up today as websites, blogs, and social media should be kept for

future generations.  Join them and help to create the memories for

your children and grandchildren.
